Soul of the City: Cultivating and Celebrating Local Food

Presented by Calgary Economic Development, River Café and Boxwood are participating in this event that will look at the importance of Calgary's local food movement as it relates to community building, place-making, and meaningful opportunities for social gatherings.

All things 'local' seem to be an increasing consumer trend as consumers crave authentic experiences. This holds true when it comes to food as citizens are taking to community and backyard gardening in increasing numbers. Local food lends itself to artistic expression, personal health, sustainability and community building. Now is the time to have this conversation in Calgary and showcase the amazing local food scene we have here.

Join River Café and Boxwood for a local food celebration along with other Calgary restaurants at the SAIT Culinary Campus.
