BOXWOOD is located in the newly restored gardens of Central Memorial Park in the beltline district of Calgary. BOXWOOD is the casual cousin to River Café, featuring a menu of spontaneous dishes prepared using all the same great local sustainable ingredients .

BOXWOOD has quickly become a favorite among locals for its rustic rotisserie meat sandwiches on house-made ciabatta, as well as flavorful salads, soups, and stews featuring wholesome grains, legumes, and vegetables.

The menu takes full advantage of Calgary’s growing community of local and regional purveyors, supplemented by produce grown in our own culinary garden outside the back door. Guests can eat in with beer or wine, or take the food to go to picnic in the park or beyond.
